Uh...I Don't Know. Maybe It's A Torture Device For Deer. Spotted While Out At The South County Antique Mall. But It's Just A Creepy Aside. Wanna See Who's Moving Into My Old Booth? Status: Update.

Yeah, that's a weird thing to find at an antique mall.  It looks like an Iron Maiden for poor hapless deer!  I'm guessing that it's actually a mold to make foam deer for archery target practice.  Or maybe really big deer candles.  But that's not what this post is about.  It's about my old booth # 195 at the Creve Coeur Antique Mall.

Good news, looks like the new vendor in 195 is angled in very near the same direction as I!  Of

course, as you can plainly see, there's lots of audio speakers in there.  And obviously they aren't fully

moved in.  I've got good feelings coming from what IS there so far though.

I use those same Bose speakers here at home with our surround sound for the TV.  They sound great,

in case you were wondering.  I'm a big fan of vintage Bose stuff.  And how about that city scape

print!  That's pretty great.  All of these items point in a certain direction that I'm hoping this vendor is

headed.  I even admire their shelf and table selections!  Looks to me like they'll do real soon

as they get some more stuff up in here.

  1. Hey Mr. Modtomic
Might that be a mold for making cement lawn ornaments? My Grandparents had some. I want some for my back yard.
    Just a thought.

  2. He or she has big shoes to fill! The MCM pickings seem to be much slimmer in Phoenix, seeing all your pictures is making me a little homesick. Cheers - CT

  3. Whoa, deer iron maiden... whatever it is, it is creepy indeed.
    Nice triangle tables.
