I haven't been finding too much on the StL. craigslist lately and a quick look through a number of other cities has left me wanting. Thankfully, Portland Oregon came through with plenty of lovely bargains to show ya!
I felt bad only putting up five items last time, so this time I dropped in an extra. Philly really has some good stuff. I bet a lot of get overlooked by the hunters like me too!
I got a text from the fine folks at the Green Shag Market yesterday that the pair of Glass and Chrome Side / End Tables had found new digs. Crap...I had lots of stuff displayed on those! I really liked them in the booth too! They were perfect for displaying there since they were glass and light passed through. Oh well, I had to get something else in there.
Another stupid amazing craigslist find. This time it wasn't StL. craigslist but Springfield Il. criagslist. Yet, it wasn't in Springfield but Jacksonville Il. At least Jacksonville is about 25 miles closer and although there isn't a major highway that leads there the two lane blacktop that does is nice and straight...due north!
More cheap cool tables! Nice. I found this beauty on C-list the same night I found the tossed Kroehler down the street. I picked it up on my way into work yesterday. It was at a business downtown that was liquidating it's assets.
Today I received an inquiry about the Vitra Verner Panton "S" chairs that I have available on my Craigslist ads. I found these chairs a few weeks ago on Craigslist somewhat under priced. I usually wait a little longer than a month to re-list an item. What follows is why.
Now isn't this just a match made in heaven? Don't they all look like they were just meant for one another? Can you believe I forgot I had this table stuck in the Garage?
Ah, the classic (and very Classy if I may say) Verner Panton "S" Chair. Simple and Elegant, no? Combined with modern materials and construction techniques these attributes are, as they ever were, Timeless!
