If I didn't already have one of these (OK, I think mine is a 9 bottle rack but still, I think I've caught my limit!) I would have snatched this Arthur Umanoff steel and leather wine rack right up. But I didn't and as a result...You Can!
We spotted this chair quite a while back at a local consignment / resale shop in St. Chuck. I inquired about the price since it didn't have a tag at the time. They told me it was available on eBay at the time. I checked eBay and did indeed find it, but not at a price I was going to be interested in paying!
How monochromatic is that? Nothing but silver, black and grey. Well, it ain't like it's a set. Each piece can be had separately and mixed / matched with some of the other chairs / tables I have, you might find elsewhere in the mall or maybe you have at home.
The last item I found at the Midway Antique Mall was this Moe Honeycomb pendant lamp. It's in remarkably good shape, having no appreciable scratches or any cracks in that beautiful golden orange honeycomb cone.
After getting a late start today, I tried to deliver some more items to the new booth at the Creve Coeur Antique Mall. See, what happen was...I've been trying to get the items I've got at the shop in St. Charles packed up, stuffed in Frank and over to the new booth space. I got Two out of Three today.
Sadly, no tags. Probably not Knoll since the seller...well, said they weren't. Still, they got style for miles and they'll go nicely with the chrome base table I featured a few days ago. I've still got to fix up the top of that table though, so it'll be a while.
THIS is what happens when a flea can pick and choose who sets up. Instead of wildly random vendors, you can see a focus develop. It's not so narrow as to end up with just 25 buyers walking around either. My guess, it takes a delicate touch and a spine of steel. Don't know if I'd want that job!
I...Love...These. So much so that I wish that there was a larger version for adults! I'd so have one...or wish I could have one, or whatever. Since there isn't I've had to make do with (strangely) longing for one of these in it's original infant configuration. As of last weekend I will long no more.
So right away, let me get this out of the way...sadly, they are not Knoll. They are "Made In China" repros. I know, I was disappointed too. Still, they are super nice reproductions, being made of real leather and polished stainless steel. My hopes were high but did I really think my luck was that good? Uh uh. ::Check inside for a lil more info I just came across::
