Nice gams, eh? When I found this table my first thought was "Karl Springer" but that turned up nothing with a quick search. Then I remembered Pace! Not a fancy desinger but still a well respected name in the design world.
Somehow Mr. M lucked into a FOUR day weekend. Unfortunately that first day (Friday) was cloudy and cool, but at least I found these fantastic teak Balans chairs, all in great condition. Their very pretty blue upholstery, contrasting against the beautiful teak frames made up for the otherwise dreary day.
This oil painting of an Asian Junk on a waterway isn't perhaps as old as many of the paintings and prints that I've picked up over the years, but it's definitely got the Mid Century vibe, and that's what's important when it's hanging on your wall...right?
I'll admit it, I've got a weakness for decorator "How To" books. I'll probably never see a book that deals exclusively with Vintage Modern, but that's OK...I like how many of these books weave Vintage Modern pieces in with traditional and antique styles. Oh, yeah...and that magazine rack. Pretty cool, huh!
Find your leg warmers, get out your Hall And Oates Christmas cassette tape, plug this bad boy in and make your holiday party special! Yup, this bright red boombox could be yours! I'll be dropping it (and a few other items) off at the booth in The Green Shag Tomorrow (hopefully).
