    1. Hi Eartha. If we had a finished basement (and it wasn't already full of my collectings) this whole posting would be quite different!

  2. lol. I think that set has been up since before I moved into my place. They keep re-listing and re-listing and re-listing...

I guess western-themed mid-century modern is kind of a niche market.

    1. Hi Anony. Yes! And they've implemented some "mouse over" coding as well. Nice. Modtomic approved.

    1. Hi Canadanonymous. Alas...Mr. Modtomic doesn't watch enough TV to justify paying for cable. I missed it. Also, we tried to "get into" Mad Men by renting the seasons DVDs but it just didn't take. ::shrugg::

  8. Oh wow. I love it; seriously, if I had unlimited funds I would totally buy it and build a whole new kitchen around it. The kitsch of that deserves some sort of special homage. Someone should write it a poem!

    1. Hi HT. It does deserve some sort of homage doesn't it, but I'm thinking a little more Rock-a-billy!

  10. That would go really well in our Hoss Cartwright room, but we're trying to move away from kitsch and be more grown up. ;-)

    1. Hi RR. ...And you're not gonna make a roadtrip to StL to pick it up?

  12. I would happily buy it for our basement reno., if it cost a little less. Maybe I should call and haggle? It might be worth what he's asking, but it's out of my budget right now. I like my bargains. Perfect for a girl from Oklahoma though, I may have to think about this.

    1. Hi Stacy. For a "flip" I'd say it's a little pricey, but as a "keeper"...that's a lot of furniture for a grand! Priced booths lately? They ain't cheap!
