It's not a real LeCorbusier LC4, of course. I'm not that lucky...and if it was the real deal I wouldn't be parting with it! Still, it's got style for miles and is so so comfy. Don't believe? Drop by the Antique Mall Of Creve Coeur and try it out!
At a Third of the full online price, picking up this "Angus" Eames Lounger & Ottoman from a craigslist seller was a no brainer. It's basically brand new...with a few minor issues.
Even though these are SO not Knoll / Bertoia they will still do the job and look good doing it...and lighten a pocket book considerably less doing so. These popped up on craigslist during the last few hours I was in New Orleans. I had e-mails out on a number of items all weekend but this was all that panned out.
Momtomic and the Sis wanted to stop by American Aquatic Gardens and Gifts today and I just happened to be along for the ride. I didn't think I'd find anything we'd really be all that interested in but BAM, found some cool patio furniture...plus the place is just beautiful.
If I didn't already have one of these (OK, I think mine is a 9 bottle rack but still, I think I've caught my limit!) I would have snatched this Arthur Umanoff steel and leather wine rack right up. But I didn't and as a result...You Can!
I've been trying to get this fantastic set of bent plywood swivel loungers down to the booth in The Green Shag Market for a couple of days now. You have no idea how many times I've driven down there on a Tuesday (the only day they AIN'T open) to drop something off.
Good thing this was cheap because I had to completely disassemble (not that difficult) the frame, remove all the canvas (a little harder), toss all that in the washer, cleanup the frame (time consuming) and reassemble the whole thing (much harder)! All this in today's 90+ degree heat.
These chairs recently sold on First Dibs after being attributed to Casala as Casalino chairs designed by Alexander Begge. Turns out, I don't think they actually are. This is why doing your due diligence as a buyer is so important, and as a seller is not just good business but ethical.
I don't have a table set up with these in the booth (307) yet but I just had to go ahead and drop them off. You see, FOUR big items left my space over the weekend and I had something of a void to fill!
I just wanted some new socks. I wasn't looking to be surprised by a knock off of a fine danish modern seating unit. And anyway, why'd they only have one? That's just weird.
