Finding any Warren Church / Perception pieces in the wild is tough enough, finding a great matching set of living room tables...well, let me just say it like this: I've never even found a coffee table like this until this score, much less a full on matched set!

Our Good Friend Illuminate Nabbed This Collection Of Blue Heaven Dishes For Me A While Back And I Just Now Got Around To Unpackaging Them. It's An Unussual Set, But That's What You Get When You Shop Second Hand...Right?! Status: Collected.

Illuminate came by for our annual Nightmare Before Christmas party and brought with her 3 bags from the Goodwill.  I remember her texting me about some Blue Heaven she had spotted at a thrift a while back but had forgotten all about it.  What a strange "set".

Last Weekend, While Out Takin Care Of All Sorts Of Running Around, We Managed To Scavenge A Couple Of Thrifts. All I Managed To Find Was A Nice Selection Of Paul McCobb Dinner Ware, But It Certainly Brightened Up My Day! Status: Collected.

I'm not usually smitten with shiny, slick porcelain dinner ware like this but really, who can resist them some Contempri / Jackson China by Paul McCobb? "Not I" said the fly! This isn't your standard frilly antique porcelain dinner ware, no Sir. These designs are of the conservative restraint and functionality we have come to expect of all Paul McCobb's designs.

Yea!!! Look At All That Melted Snow...Wait. Well, You Know What I Mean. It's Gone. In Its Place: Five More Erik Buck Teak Dining Chairs. That Makes An Even Dozen. Status: Finally.

I've had Seven of these Erik Buck dining chairs floating around here for ages now.  You know I can't stand having uneven sets, right?  So those Seven have been pushed both to the back of the garage as well as my brain.  Not so anymore.

Sure, It Was A Three Day Weekend...But Does It Count If It Rains Every Day? Bringing Home A Pair Of Arthur Umanoff Iron And Leather Wine Racks Today Helped To Soothe The Pain. Status: A Mess.

Again, Mr. M was just plum tuckered out when he got home from work last night (remember, I'm a second shift worker) and just didn't have the wear with all to get a post done. But, since ain't much happ'nin' here at work today I'm taking the opportunity to get it done now! Alas, it's just a couple of lamps that I've picked up recently.

No No, I Didn't Start A Redwing Bobwhite Collection. I Picked Up This Set Along The 127 Corridor 690 Mile Long Flea Market. Am I Tempted To Keep It? Yup. Am I Going To Keep It? Nope. Status: In The Booth (307 CCAM).

This cute little family of Redwing Bobwhite serving pieces was about the second or third item we found on our fun little yard sale road trip through Ohio and Kentucky.  These came from a collector rather than a seller of random wares and were a welcome find.

These Beautiful Blue Art Glass Pieces Were The VERY First Purchase On Our Highway 127 WLFM Weekend Adventure. I Was So Afraid They Wouldn't Survive The Entire Trip, But They Made It! Status: Available In Booth 307.

I actually hesitated when I spotted this lovely pair of...uh, what exactly are these called? Vases? Chalices? I don't know. I can't seem to find the right term for them in my brain at the moment. Anybody? At any rate, finding good stuff right away felt like a good sign. I guess I should have taken it as a sign that I'd find mostly good Smalls!

Dorothy Thorpe Style Booty (Ha, That's Kinda Funny) From The Worlds Longest Yard Sale, The Famous 127 Corridor Flea Market. As You Can See, You Can Find Good Stuff If You Are Persistent Enough. Status: In The Booth!

This nice little haul of chrome rim bar ware came from two different sources along highway 127 but both sets were great bargains.   I would normally keep (horde?) this stuff for my own bar collection, but I think I've got enough.  Time to spread the wealth so these pieces are available in booth 307 at The Antique Mall of Creve Coeur.

The Third Piece Of Broyhill Sculptra This Week! AND This Is The Second Sculptra Knee Hole Desk That I've Made Available. The Last One Found A New Home All The Way Up In Chicago! Status: Already Gone.

Just behind the desk you can see the full size bookcase headboard that also came with all the Sculptra that I just dropped off in booth 307 at The Antique Mall Of Creve Coeur.  Now you know why it took me FIVE hours to bring all this in, clean it all up, photograph it and tag it!  That's just a lot of big furniture!

Yes! More Sculptra! This Five Drawer Chest Of Drawers Came In Along With The Six Drawer Dresser That I Featured The Other Day. A Nice Set You Say? Besides These Two There's Still More! Status: Already Gone.

Yep, this was part of Saturday's haul what cost Mr M. five full hours of hard labor.  It's a tough row to hoe, but somebody's got to do it...and I don't mind so much.  It's nice to have such a large space here in Creve Coeur that I can do just a bit of re-arranging and manage to stuff in a few more large items.

When Last We Visited This Arthur Umanoff Wine / Bar Cart It Was Still Farm Fresh / Hot Mess. I Finally Found The Much Needed Replacement Wheels So I Took The Opportunity To Go Ahead And Start The Cleanup Process. Status: It Has Begun.

I was trying to get this post out early this morning but I kinda shot myself in the foot, metaphorically speaking. Was out too late last night, had two too many tall Cuba Libres, had to pick up Frank from the doctor early this morning (brakes) and had to do some minor work on him myself afterwords. I just didn't have the time.

What Is It About These Rorschach Test Looking Cow Hide Rugs? I Find Myself Inexplicably Drawn To Them. I Imagine Many Of You Do Too, But Probably Just As Many Probably Can't Stand Them. Status: Somewhat Controversial.

This is the Fourth hide rug that I've brought home so far.  All Three of my full size ones have come from Craigslist and my little one (about the size of bath mat!) was found at the Wentzville Flea.  I know that not everybody digs these and I don't know why I feel like they go so well with mid century modern, but I'm totally smitten with them.

She may, for all I know, now have more salt and pepper shakers than she does vintage costume jewelry.  It's hard to tell.  We don't have as good a way to display the S&P sets as she does the jewelry...but I know she's got lots!

Sunday's Visit To The Wentzville Flea Yeilded Some Interesting Results. Nothing Big Or Epic, But Some Pretty Cool Stuff None The Less. Status: Retro Smallsville!

The Wentzville flea has finally hit it's stride.  The last two Sundays have been well attended by the vendors which is a big 180 from the few couple weekends we had previously seen.  I still didn't find much, but I do find myself being a bit pickier these days.

Being out of town, I missed a couple three Sundays at the Wentzville Flea.  Craigslist has been kinda weak lately and I ain't had so much time to hit the thrifts...but I did manage to liberate all this from a couple of those.
