After the Estate FAIL (well, to some extent anyway) yesterday I went ahead and stopped at the South County antique mall since it was pretty much Right There. I managed to further salvage the morning by picking up a few more good items there but this Molested Italian Gio Ponti style dining chair just made me sad all over again. Why? At least it was just one and not a whole set.

Some weekends we come home from the fleas nearly empty handed...while other days the fleas are quite generous!  This past weekend fell squarely into the generous category!  Of course, scoring the Russel Wright relish rosette helped tons!  Faith renewed!

So These Are The Patio Door Drapes That Were Here When We Moved In. Nothing Wrong With Them, But Maybe It's Time For A Change. Status: Out With The Old In With The Old?

Florence Knoll Table Installed. Hey, Looks Pretty Good With The Brasilia! Who Knew?! Status: Tuckered Out.

I FINALLY got my new (to me!) table installed in the dining room this evening. It wasn't as easy as just pulling out the original Broyhill Brasilia dining table and bringing in this lovely behemoth, oh no. Nothing is ever THAT easy. I actually started getting things ready last night!  But it was worth it.  Look how much King Larry / McDuff loves it already!

The thrifts...they ain't been good to a Mr. I've had Four straight days of strike outs. I Mean NOTHING! Man that stings.
