I Don't Normally Tout Hotels Or Hotel Rooms Unless They Are Vintage Mom And Pop Places That Exceed Expectations...But This "Sleep Inn" Room In Provo Utah Just Floored Us. Status: Less Than $100 Before Taxes!

We booked this room from the road just using our "smart" phones.  Ain't it amazing what can be accomplished while driving these days?  They only had a couple rooms still available at this Sleep Inn in Provo Utah and we were lucky enough to snag this one...and for about $95!

Wow, It Got Warm Again Here In St. Louis. What A Day To Have To Pull An 8ft. Sofa From A Home And Load It Up In The Car. But A Flipper's Gotta Do What A Flipper's Gotta Do! Status: Available!

If you've ever tried, you know how difficult it is to find a sofa.  OK, it's easy to find a sofa...but to find a sofa that fits our mid twentieth century modern aesthetic...Whew...better pack a lunch or bring a BIG bag of money!  Today I picked up a lovely mid century classic that I'll be squeezing into the shop later this evening.

Oh Dang. Not Only Did I Misspell "Ohmega" Of Ohmega Salvage The Other Day... Status: Fixed And Fixed.

Yup...messed up the name, but I fixed it!  And on top of that, I didn't realize the joint just across the street was ALSO Ohmega Salvage!  I thought they were two different businesses that just happen to have similar stuff.  The thing is...the first place (on the west side of the street) has much nicer stuff...so it was an easy mistake to make!  Wanna take a quick look around?

This place has some really beautiful vintage home restoration salvaged goods.  If you are anywhere near by and are engaged in a restoration or retro-renovation this place should be on your short list.  If they ain't got it, it looks like they might be able to find it.

Biggest Baddest Junk Shop Anywhere? Urban Ore In Berkeley California Might Just Be It! Status: Mind Boggling.

I thought I'd died and gone to heaven...nope, I flied and gone to Cali!  Yeah, unfortunately we flew to San Fran / Oakland, which I think was the Girlfriends secret plan to keep me from dragging too much stuff (any actually ::sob::) home with me.  It KILLED me to leave this seriously cool console stereo behind but I didn't think it would fit in the overhead.
