Are You Seeing Double Too? Dag...Shouldn't Have Had That Last Coctail! Status: At Least It's Not Two Pink Elephants!

Yeah! More book...(s). So I forgot I had one already and bought a second. I can't remember Everything! I gots lots of stuff.

Mr. Modtomic is only human. And for real, it can't hurt to have a backup. If I find

one more, it's officially a collection.

These books are a great peek back in time to what some home owners aspired to

accomplish. I particularly like the over saturated colors of the photos. Yeah,

there's lots of perfectly fine info concerning layout, balance, color coordinating

and all that...but if you are into this stuff all those things probably come natural to

you. Did Salvador Dali read books on painting? I don't know...maybe...but I don't

think so. I think he just looked at the cool pictures! So let's continue in the great

tradition of Salvador Dali (me thinks) and look at all the coolest pics!

  1. I have ONE book in my possession from Better Homes and Gardens on how to plant gardens for your midcentury home. So there are more pictures of outside architecture with the types of gardens "recommended" for your perfect sanctuary. It is pretty cool!! Your book(s) are pretty awesome too!!

  2. cool! which year is that one from? i'll always pick up doubles on books if they're cheap enough; they make for great gifts or a quick etsy sale etc.

  3. I have multiples of that very version, and also a collection of most of the iterations leading up to it. Can't help myself when I see them while thrifting (but isn't that how we get all the stuff we have?!) - Glad I'm in good company!!
