Usually It's The Weekend When All The Good Scores Go Down But Thursday And Friday Were Pretty Darn Great This Week Too. Thursday Provided Mr. M With This Beautiful Drexel Projection Dresser. Status: In The Booth @ Creve Coeur Antique Mall!

What was with the names of all the contemporary furniture lines in the '50s and '60s?  Perception, Perspecta, Planner, Perimeter, Predictor...  Well, this one is Projection by Drexel.  You'd think the marketing geniuses would want their name to Stand Out From as apposed to Being Confused With.

Anybody else have a hard time keeping all the names and brands straight?  It's a tough job!  Thank

god we got smart phones now, otherwise I'd have to carry a big notepad with me everywhere.

Anyway, Mr. Modtomic took off work early Thursday and met the Girlfriend in Clayton for a nice

dinner at Barcelona, a tapas bar with great food.  Just as soon as we got home from dinner I spotted

this on c-list.  I contacted the seller and turned right around and got back in the car for a trip nearly

right back to where we had come from.  You won't hear me complain.  Gotta strike while the iron is

The dresser is in such great condition and even has a nice large mirror.  Both are already cleaned up

pretty and set up in booth 307 at The Antique Mall of Creve Coeur.  Today I worked a later shift at

work work and was able to not only take care of cleaning this up and delivering it to CCAM, but I

also picked up another really nice piece that I'll feature probably tomorrow.

Man, this has been a long day.  I had my phone alarm clock set to go off at 8am but I didn't hear it or

it didn't go off. I did manage to wake myself up at 9:30am and rush out the door to pick up the

another c-list find that I had procured while At work Thursday.  I had made arrangements with the

seller to meet at 9am but she had let me know that any time in the AM was good for her.  Still, I like

to keep my appointments.  After waking up late I still had to unload the Focus Wagon before picking

up anything else, so I've been hard at it since about 9:45am...well before my standard wake up time!

It was worth it.  It was a good day.
