Another Pair Of Black And Chrome BRNO Chairs? How Lucky Can Mr. Modtomic Be?! Well, Lucky Might Not Be The Right Word. Zero Sum...Maybe That's Closer. Status: Pickup Tomorrow

After getting a late start today, I tried to deliver some more items to the new booth at the Creve Coeur Antique Mall.  See, what happen was...I've been trying to get the items I've got at the shop in St. Charles packed up, stuffed in Frank and over to the new booth space.  I got Two out of Three today.

Unortunately, I just didn't leave enough time today to get the items unloaded and into the booth.  I

made a trip to True Value Hardware to get some power strips and then over to the shop to load up the

back of Frank.  I picked up some coffee tables, a chair and a big box of smalls.  By this time it was

4:30pm and I just didn't have enough time to get to the new booth and off load.

So when I found that I wasn't going to be able to get the items out of the car and in the booth I

decided to pop into the Goodwill just up the road.  I've found lots of good stuff there (one pair of

side tables I failed to pick up in particular) so if I'm in the area I'll usually take a moment to check

it's stock.  Today turned up another pair of BRNO style armchairs!  And Jeez, check out how cheap.

Unfortunately Frank was full of the stuff that was scheduled to go into the booth, so I had to pay for

them and leave them behind.  No worries, I'll get up early and drop off the stock in the back of Frank

and then pick up the chairs.  So, you know...even Steven!

    1. Use a magnet on the tubes; if it sticks, it's a copy (chrome over regular steel). Real Knoll chairs are made from stainless steel, which will attract poorly, or just slide off. KOs will also sometimes be taller than the 30" originals.

    2. Hi Mythos.

All six are stainless steel but the seat backs rise to 31 1/2 inches. ::Shrug:: I didn't really think they were originals! They still sport the style.
