There's a couple of new big items in the booth lately. Can you pick them out? I dropped off three of the Eames shell chairs I brought back from Texas, obviously the Majestic fireplace is front and center, just behind that is the swivel, tilt Eames shell armchair and then behind that is the brass "Z" floor lamp.

How Long Has It Been Since I Featured My Little Outlet At The Green Shag Market? Too Long? Not Long Enough? Beats Me! At Any Rate, I Dragged Some More Goodies Down To The City Over The Weekend. Status: Flourishing.

What Pops Up On Craigslist Never Ceases To Amaze Me. Sunday Afternoon Afforded The Mr. An Opportunity To Acquire A Fine Pair Of Ron Rezek Desk Lamp...And This Mister Is Not One To Look A Gift Horse In The Pie Hole. Status: Snatched.
Truth is, I hadn't even heard of Ron Rezek until yesterday. I spotted this pair of perforated diffuser desk lamps on the "list" and decided to do a little lookin' 'round on the web. I only turned up one other pair and they were listed on 1stDibs. A good sign, but not definitive as far as I'm concerned. Still, they weren't pricey and they looked cool.

'Twas A Marvelous Day Here In The Midwest. I Partook Of The Wentzville Flea This Morning And Rescued This Vintage Jacobsen Series 7 Chair. Status: Why-Oh-Why.
I passed it by three times before breaking down and making an offer on it. I just felt so sorry for it. It's not a bad paint job...just SO the wrong chair! It's a shame Becky Miles didn't know any better. But I'm gonna see if I can rescue it.

I'm Hoping To Have This Magnificent Majestic Cone Fireplace Available At The Green Shag Market By The Time You Read This Saturday. Status: Available...But For How Long?!
I used to photograph a lot of the items I posted on craigslist in front of our orange Majestic cone fireplace. I'd get about 3 or 4 inquiries asking if the fireplace was available for each ad. We still have that old Majestic in our living room because some thing are just keepers...no matter what. Well, now I have an opportunity to make someone very happy.

I Found Waldo. Well, A Painting BY Waldo...Z. Waldo That Is. Just Some More Delightful And Anonymous Late '60s Art. Status: Almost A Keeper.
I popped in to the Salvation Army the other morning before heading into work and this lovely lanscape painting (acrylic on canvas) was waiting for me to take it home. I love rescuing stuff like this from the last place before the landfill. Hopefully, I'll be able to foster it into a loving new home.

While I Was Picking Up The Brasilia Table From Dan Over The Weekend I Was Given A Chance To Cherry Pick His Upcoming Garage Sale And Snag One Of The First Case Study Style Planters. Status: Super Mod Smalls!
Dan and a friend of his are making these Case Study style planters and I'm gonna get some in both the family shop, Fleur De Lis - Home Source and in my booth space at The Green Shag Market. This is the first of three that I've got coming my way. While I was there I snatched up this neato kinetic mobile sculpture.

Is This A Knoll Table? There's No Label But There's One Tell Tale Sign. I Just Can't Find Another Like It Anywhere. Can My Amazing Readership Help? Status: Mysterious.
I found this big heavy steel and walnut pedestal dining table over the weekend languishing at the South County Value Village. No price so at first I thought it was already sold. Then I noticed that NONE of the furniture had prices! So, although I hate having to, I asked. Then I purchased.

Brasilia Before And After. You Might Remember This Broyhill Brasilia Drop Leaf Harvest Table From Last October. It's Has Finally Emerged From It's Cocoon And Boy Is It Pretty! Status: Available.
After a long winter the Brasilia harvest table is back out in the open. It's been a long wait but it was totally worth it. It needed lots of love and luckily I know just the man for the job. He loves the work and loves Brasilia so it was only natural that he takes care of all my Broyhill "troubles".

This Sensational Dining Suite By Drexel Was What Had Me Running Around All Morning Saturday. It's The Subtle And Sublime Declaration Line...And Lots Of It! Status: Available.
The name "Declaration" conjures up what, Colonial style furnishings? This ain't that. But to be fair, there are many pieces of the Drexel Declaration line that would perhaps fit that image you've conjured up. I'm not sure how the two fit together and share the same name but I'm not a marketing genius either. I'll leave that mystery to the pros.

It's Been A Crazy Weekend. I Need A Drink. How About A Whiskey? This Set Should Help With That. Looks Like New. Status: Headed To The Shop.
One of my co-workers offered to GIVE me this as a neighbor had offered to give it to her. She's not into vintage the way we are and she knew I'd love it so she shot me a text photo of it. I asked her to bring it in to work and gave her some cash for it. Next stop: Fleur De Lis - Home Source.

Ah...The Siren Song Of Unobtainium. This Smashing Set Of Stacking Hairpin Leg Tables Eluded Me For Months...MONTHS!!! And It Drove Me Crazy!!! Status: Stack-tacular?
To just see them in a photo...on craigslist...you might think (I did) that these are Knoll...if you know about the Knoll stacking hairpin leg tables. If not, well...you might just think that they are some cool stacking tables, and you'd be right. Not Knoll, much to my chagrin.

It's Not Vintage But It's Certainly Modern. I Snatched Up This Great Herman Miller Aeron Chair Off C-list Last Evening After Work For A Song. It's Not Perfect But Certainly Serviceable. Status: Ohhh...The Comfort!
If you've never had the pleasure of sitting in one you are probably scratching your head right about now wondering why I'm showing off my plastic office chair. The thing is, this is a future classic. I can't really even remember where I first heard of the Herman Miller Aeron chair but a friend of ours had one years ago and when he moved we got to "baby set" his...we still have it. It's sweet. Last night I found another.

Taking A Day Off Tuesday Payed Off Big! I Picked Up This Great Vintage Mod Swag Lamp Along With The Tulip Table Featured Yesterday And A Few Other Choice Goodies That You'll See Later. Status: Available.
I had to clean up a chair and shoot some pics of that this morning before work for a potential new owner so I didn't have a real good chance to clean this little gem up. Please disregard the spots you see on the globe and how dull the wood looks. It's gonna get a proper scrubbing and the wood, a danish oil bath...then it's off to the shop.

Who Doesn't Love A Beautiful Tulip Table? I Picked Up This One, In Coffee Table Form, Just This Afternoon. I'm Still Not Sure Whether Or Not It's A Knoll / Saarinen. Status: Unidentified Bequiling Object!
Regardless of it's maker and or designer this table was such a brilliant score. I spotted this a few days ago and had shot off an e-mail right away...then heard nothing. For days. And days. Then today, a day so nice out that I just happened to take off work, the seller called me out of the blue! Talk about perfect timing!
