Yes, I know...but we all use it. And ya gotta keep some handy (i.e. not in the hallway closet...way down the hall) for that inevitable and inopportune moment when you find the last sheet. Sure, you could leave it sit unceremoniously out like this. Or you could buy one of those covers, but I got another idea!

Just By Happenstance We Found Another Savers Thrift Over The Weekend. Just Like Last Time We Arrived To Find A Grand Opening. And Once Again We Found Some Good Stuff. Status: Two New Traps!
I was actually headed to a Goodwill in South County that I don't get to very often when I noticed a new Savers. I actually passed by it and had to do some creative driving to get back to it as the road was separated by a concrete divider. But where there's a thrift, there's a way.

I've Got A Fresh Offering At Our Shop: Fleur De Lis - Home Source, This Week. Space Is At A Premium, Even Though I Pulled Out A Pair Of Chairs To Sell Elsewhere, But I Just Managed To Shoehorn This In! Status: Teak-a-licious!
This is all the info I have. And I'm thankful for having even that since these stickers are often lost over time. I've got the manufacturer and country of origin, but alas...have found nothing on a designer. The set has the same je ne sais quois that I feel infuses Erik Buck designs. Maybe one of my readers knows who the mystery designer is!

As Luck Would Have It I Found Another Set Of Mirror Finish Dorothy Thorpe Style Rocks Glasses. I Didn't Drop Them At Fleur De Lis But I Shot The Pics There Cuz I Needed To Clean Up The Eames Table. Status: Mission Accomplished.
Isn't that a great shot of these glasses? I almost wanna use that or something like it for my next new header. So yeah, got lucky at the Goodwill and picked up this set of six flashy rocks glasses. I'll probably be dropping them in the booth (#5) at The Green Shag Market shortly.

Craigslist Was Good To The Mister This Weekend! I Scored This Beautiful Broyhill Brasilia Side Table As Well As The Jacobsen Series 7 Reproduction Chairs. Status: Available.
This fine end table was yet another lucky craigslist find this weekend. I've got lots of Broyhill Brasilia furnishings in the house and have bought and sold plenty more, but this is the first pedestal base Lamp Table I've come across.

Happy Presidents Day To Ya! Hope You Too Have The Day Off To Go Out And Find Some Good Stuff. I Myself Picked Up A Nice Set Of West Elm Dining Chairs. Status: Undecided
I spotted these chairs a couple of weeks ago on craigslist and kept forgetting to call about them on the weekends. I finally got around to it this afternoon and was delighted to find that these six chairs just listed as office kitchen stuff (make offer) were in fact West Elm!

After A Family Meeting At Our New Shop (Fleur De Lis - Home Source In St. Charles) We Stopped At Thrifts And Picked Up A Few Smalls. Status: Some For Me Some For You!
There wasn't much to be had late in the day at the St. Chuck thrifts but I did manage to grab up a few choice items at the Salvation Army store. I gotta start getting up earlier. I have a feeling I'm missing some of the good stuff getting to the shops so late!

Vintage Kids Stuff! Can You Imagine Children Having The Patience To Play With Something Like These Anymore? Status: In Working Order.
I've had the Kenner projector for ages. Picked it up at an estate sale early on in our days of hunting and gathering. The Gaf View Master projector came later but I've also had it quite a while. Too bad it don't project in 3D...I mean, that's the whole point of a View Master, right?!

So today (Valentines Day!) was our first real "open" day and I've already sold the pair of Giancarlo Piretti slipper chairs! One official day open and I've already got a hole to fill! So I did, and with another very special chair, the Ib Kofod Larsen armchair!

I've Got Some Empty(ish) Shelves Down At The Green Shag That Are Wanting For Some Smalls. I'm Tripping Over Smalls 'Round Here! Status: Getting Tagged.
I don't really have to look too hard to find more items to populate my booth space at The Green Shag Market. I've got a spare bedroom full of smalls and lots of stuff hidden in the garage that I've got to get pulled out. Sometimes it's just a matter of deciding that it's time to let something go.
