I picked this little guy up at the Salvation Army a few days ago when I snapped the pics of the other Lane and Kroehler bedroom sets.

So I (and quite a few other "scavengers") spotted this beautiful Danish Retro sofa on Craigslist a few weeks ago. The Seller was offering it for ONLY $40!!! FOURTY DOLLARS....AMERICAN!!!

Is it irony or am I a hypocrite? I seriously can't stand Cigarettes (though the occasional wiff from a quality Cigar seems to be OK) but I Love all the cool vintage ashtrays and match boxes!

Moving stuff around in the Garage yesterday..."Found" this! Status: Top Broke Into A Thousand Little Pieces & Base / Chairs Are Gone.

The Kroehler set has been at this store since I spotted the Brutalist set a few weeks ago. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't been snatched up yet. The other Lane set is a new arrival and I don't think it'll be there long!

This little guy, a Copal, is the only Flip Clock I have that Doesn't have a radio. The rest; a Lloyd, a GE, and two Panasonics all are sporting tunes.

We picked this beautiful Table / Lamp up at an estate sale on the World Famous "Hill" in South St. Louis a few years ago. I almost didn't buy it.

The beautiful weather of Autumn is upon us. We can finally enjoy our patios without all the Sweat and 'Skeeters. Status: Sought and Found.

Finding this set of Bertoia side chairs for my patio was a hard fought battle. I fell for the design years ago. I halfheartedly tried to pick up a set here and there from Ebay but only sets that were within driving distance. Shipping kills all the fun.

The last time I dropped some pics here of my "Proto" camera collection I said that I needed a camera that fits between a piece from the 1940s and the 1970s. I found a couple at the Wentzville Flea Mkt. a few weeks ago that fit the bill.

Yeah, I've been to St. Louis' sister city, New Orleans La., every year for Halloween for the last maybe dozen or more years less the Halloween directly after the Katrina hurricane. This obsession was fostered by both my Mom (who LOVES New Orleans) and my Best Friend from school (who LOVES Anne Rice). So you see, It was written.

J & P's Edelweiss - Antiques and Collectibles - Alton Illinois. A great place to comb through looking for smalls. Status: Packed to the gills.

This is another shop in Alton Illinois (435 E Broadway Alton, IL 62002 - [618] 465-0645) that I frequent. There is so much stuff in here you can really kill a day picking through all of it.

A classic beauty. '60s era Lane Step End Tabel with Drawer. ROCK SOLID...and heavy. Lane didn't mess around. Status: Gone.

The legs really make this side table.  Very Danish Modern, while the two tiered top keeps it classy.  Not really sure how to describe the lower top.

While the mat surrounding this amazing Asian inspired oil painting leaves much to be desired, at only $15 at the flea market...this was a great find. I'm not tripping over and pushing these out of the way at the thrift stores but I have found a fair number of my collection there.

Finally...whew...symmetry! The Danish Lamps and their long awaited Shades! Status: together at last.
