Wow, What A Change...Now It's Smalls That Are Slow To Be Found! And Camera Tripods. I'm Trying To Find Another Cheap But Quality Tripod But Came Home With The Yellow Cat Lamp. Status: Available.
Cool lamp, huh. And is that another small Jere sunburst with geese? Yup. But that's about it for small vintage goodness. Of course, I haven't been looking real hard lately either. But now I need another camera tripod so I'll be looking a bit more.
The lampshade didn't come with the lamp. It was the closest, easiest shade to be had...and it looks
good. Oh, and it's a clip on. At the moment the switch is having issues but that's an easy fix. I can
get it to work...for about a 10th of a second at a time. Probably not good for reading...or seeing...or
keeping the house from burning down. I should probably fix it.
I took one of these, along with the large version, down to booth 307 a short while back and it got
snatched up quick. Not the large piece, just the little round one like this. Luckily I found another to
replace it! I guess it could just happen again, but I was hoping that someone would pick up both and
have a set for their wall. I'll just have to try again. Let's see what happens this time.
We had a camera tripod in our garage sale Sat before last. If it didn't!nsell, you can have it. I am sure the quality is good because at one time I was into photography, the 90s. I will have to ask my daughter. She boxed all left and took much to Goodwill.

DeleteHit me up if you find it. If not, no big deal. I'm just trying to find decent ones for some video rigs I'm building. Thanks either way, for thinking of me!
I don't think those sunburst pieces are Jere. Has anyone ever seen a signature on those specific pieces?
ReplyDeleteHi Mike.
DeleteJohn and Rhonda think they are. Read more in the comments here.
I have the tripod and the box. It is a Velbon Victory 550 and I paid $59.99 from Creve Coeur Camera probably mid 90s. I don't want anything for it. I live about a mile west of the old Crestwood Plaza.
