I just spotted this on C-list and had to share. This is the strangest Danish inspired sofa
I've ever seen. Matter of fact, it might be the strangest thing I've seen on C-list in a while...Period!
Is that not the weirdest thing you've ever seen? Wanna buy it for your Rumpus Room?
Here's the link! Watch out for "sticker shock". It ain't cheap.
Um... ingenious? But, where do I sit while you play pool? I too am unsure about the function of this piece. Unless you're single, living in a small space...?
ReplyDeleteGood (unusual) find!

Hi Kathryn. I don't think this should be placed in any room without a bar and barstools. I'd be happy to serve up some margaritas while everybody else plays the pocket billiards!
DeleteHoley moley fabulous!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Pam. It certainly makes a statement!
DeleteAn invention of the 60s basement rec room no doubt. Just looks like a lot more places to lose your change - not just the cushions but check your couch's pockets too!
ReplyDeleteHi DHH. Change? I'd loose my shirt! The Girlfriend is soooo much better at billiards than the Mr.
DeleteI think it's worth every penny of $475! I wish I had it, right now!
ReplyDeleteHi Laura. Maybe I'm wrong! I guess if it's a pretty good pool table... I just doubt that it's actually slate. And those cushions look "iffy" at best.
DeleteI love a good Transformer!
ReplyDeleteHi Jody. Ha! Didn't think of that! Pool tables in disguise...
DeleteWould fit perfectly in a James Bond movie.
ReplyDeleteHi John. "No Mr. Bond...I expect you to scratch!"
DeleteBut, of course.
ReplyDeleteHi Stacy. Ditto.
DeleteThat's one of those things that I never realized that I always wanted.
ReplyDeleteWhat does it say about me (or Los Angeles prices) that I read $475 and thought that at that price, this was probably a steal.
Hi Nick. Yeah, LA probably requires a bit of a "reset" in the monetary logic circuitry. I'd love to be able to pack up my lot of goodies and sell for about a month there!
DeleteIt's no more expensive than your average sofa on CL. I think it's awesome. You certainly can't buy a sofa AND a pool table for $475!
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth. I don't know...around here an older sofa seems to price out at about $150. Too much more than that and it'll sit on the list for a while, unless it's something pretty special.
DeleteThat's so cool!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary. I guess it must be! This post got about 1500 views in one day. My average for one day is about a tenth of that! Somebody put it on their facebook page thing (I don't use facebook, can you tell?). Whoever that was, thanks!
