I'm a St. Louis garage saling, estate saling, thrifting, antique malling fool as well. I write about some of my finds on my garagesalin blog.

The T20B is my daily toaster and I love it and it's automatic bread descent. I too will never go back to the plunger. My wife is not as crazy about it because of it's narrow slots not accomadating bagels. I've had a number of vintage toasters over the years. I never pass one up at a cheap price.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03119827816698009731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668802457367853649.post-85972432117261903602012-05-08T03:46:59.788-05:002012-05-08T03:46:59.788-05:00Hi Betty. When you place a piece of bread in that it starts the lowering process and the heating elements. How it all works is voodoo to me.Mr. Modtomichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16804031065414619749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668802457367853649.post-59270316435664980842012-05-08T03:29:25.233-05:002012-05-08T03:29:25.233-05:00Hi Anony. They do this (I think) because having all the same elements on the inside and the outside would result in the inside area having to high a heat and then the toast would not "toast" evenly! It's all very scientific I'm sure.Mr. Modtomichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16804031065414619749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668802457367853649.post-50274114967315180992012-05-08T03:25:26.686-05:002012-05-08T03:25:26.686-05:00Hi John. I love the reflection that you framed in the shiny stainless of the toaster - the two cars vs the two smaller objects on the table - the curve of the table vs the graphic lines on the toaster - and even the rough texture of the brick vs the shiny metal of the toaster.Jenniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13774253091096212005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6668802457367853649.post-57172364961178213252012-05-05T06:38:39.860-05:002012-05-05T06:38:39.860-05:00Man, what a Bueaty of a toaster. John Carter is excellent and I hear The Avengers is excellent too. I will go see The Avengers Monday night in extreme 3d Cinemark theater. Joss Wheaton is one of my favorite directors. Enjoy the show.

JohnAtomicHipsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07441545938124276044noreply@blogger.com
