This all started with one innocent purchase from an estate sale.

My mom put me on to this great little shop in South St. Louis. Whoa whoa whoa...

The "Pod" chairs. These are a lot like Overman swivel chairs. I have a total of four. They are great for extra party seating! Status: Gone.

These very stylish chairs are so comfy. Great for lounging in front of the TV or playing cards with friends. Even if you don't win, you'll look good loosing!

Huge sofa size original oil painting. Vintage 60s style that you just can't buy new! Status: Gone

Wow, isn't this great? This Van Gaard (signed "Van Gaard" but more likely painted by a company artist working for Mr. Lee Burr Reynolds at the Van Gaard studio) is in AMAZING condition especially for being FOURTY THREE years old!

Just thought I'd share a few images of my camera collection starter kit.

So, like I said, I collect all manor of 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s vintage, retro, danish modern and midcentury ephemera. What I don't collect is vintage costume jewelry. Wanna know why?

A most interesting (and brave little?) Toaster. Status: pending (undecided).

I have a collection of all weird toasters, electric frying pans, fondue pots, etc.

The big "for me only" purchase. Selig "Z" Chair. Status: Taken...by ME!!!

So, I never thought I'd be a guy who spends a lot (A LOT!) of money on "A" chair. But sometimes...

Neat Retro Atomic Fifties Plant (or whatnot) Stand. Status: Available.

This is in great condition. Most of these have been set out on the patio for 50 years...

One of my four Predicta TVs. A little video to cheer up your day! Status: Not without a BIG wad of cash.

She's not for sale but I figured I'd show her off anyway. She's almost as pretty as Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday! It's a 1950s Philco Predicta "Holiday" model. At 20" and having portability from room to room, she was quite a luxury in her day. Some day I'll have her all tuned up so that the picture is a little less squished. This was a C-list find. In fact, all my Predictas have come from C-list.

Hard to find Broyhill Brasilia livingroom side tables. One in Very Good Condition. One, top needs refinish. Status: Gone.

I snatched these up with a complete dining set and bedroom set at an East St. Louis (!) thrift store a few months ago.

Barrel back Kodawood style club chair. Status update: Gone.

Picked this guy up from thrift store on the way over to help my mom with her computer (she also sells on Craigslist!). I had to stop. I just couldn't help myself.
